Ministry Team Founded in 1983 by Pastors Dwight and Geraldine Hicks, Living Word Family Church has a ministry team which has worked together for over 14 years, and we welcomed our newest minister in 2008. Pastor Dwight Hicks Pastor Dwight, along with his wife Geraldine is the founder and Senior Pastor of Living Word Family Church. He has ministered in Papua New Guinea, India, Mexico, the U.S.A. and in Australia. Dwight believes that we must all maintain a flow of God's wonderful Spirit everyday and be filled (and keep being filled) with the Holy Spirit.  Twenty-six years in ministry, Pastor Dwight is also called to pastor to pastors and is Vice President, National Co-ordinator and QLD Regional Co-ordinator of the International Convention of Faith Ministries (ICFM), as well as Founding President of Word of Faith Churches® Australia (WoFCA).   John Owen John is a corporate executive with many years’ experience in the banking industry and he is a member of the Australian Institute of Management.  John is ordained as an associate minister of Living Word Family Church, and is Brisbane Regional Co-ordinator of the International Convention of Faith Ministries (ICFM).  John's heart is to teach believers the potential for their success and to walk in the Blessing which God has provided for them through living the uncompromised Word of God.  John is married to Denise who is secretary to ICFM. Peter Wetzig Peter is ordained as an associate minister with Living Word Family Church, is a corporate executive and has legal and accounting qualifications.  Peter's strong desire is to see believers develop and grow in God and in application and fulfilment of God's will and purpose for their lives.  He also desires that ministries and pastors prove themselves excellent in ministerial governance.  Peter is the dean of The Bible Academy^TM and will inspire you as he ministers the Word of God under the teaching anointing that God has placed on his life.  Peter is married to Lyn who is the Church secretary. Joel Pekkanen Joel is an ordained minister and teacher with Living Word Family Church. His desire is to encourage believers by speaking inspired words by the Holy Spirit.  Joel is married to Tracey. Tracey Pekkanen  Tracey is an ordained minister and teacher with Living Word Family Church. Tracey also heads up our ladies’ ministry (‘Women of Worth’) and our Deacons’ ministry. Tracey is a graduate of Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, USA.  She has a heart for maturing God's people and leading them in a life of victory.  Tracey is married to Joel. Dwight Hicks Jnr. Dwight is our Church Administrator and Treasurer.  He also works the sound desk.  Dwight is married to Kylie. Kylie Hicks Kylie is our Children’s Church leader, and the children love to attend Children’s Church!  Kylie and her faithful band of workers, teach our children the love of God and the Word of God, in a safe, caring environment.  Kylie is married to Dwight jnr. Jeremy Hicks Jeremy works the sound desk and ministers the Word over communion and offerings.  Jeremy is married to Katie. Katie Hicks Katie is our music leader, and is a faithful minister in song and worship. Katie moves under a strong anointing of praise and gratefulness to God for all His goodness, and this anointing moves us to praise and worship.  Katie is married to Jeremy. Pastor Carlos Rey Pastor Carlos and his wife Marie pastor Living Word International Church. They are a congregation of Spanish speaking believers who come under the banner of Living Word Faith Ministries Inc.
